Faq’s for Bubble X

The Bubble X (Sparkling) WaterBar works on several levels to provide a great drinking experience: The carbonating tank is filled with cold, filtered and purified water. The carbonating tank keeps the cold water as the optimal temperature for producing sparkling water. Carbonation and mixing stage – CO₂ is inserted at 10 bar pressure into the carbonating tank which dissolves the CO₂ in the water. Releasing stage – when the carbonating tank is opened, the pressure is released, enabling CO₂ to escape from the carbonating tank and the bubbles to appear.

Pouring phase – pouring the sparkling water to a glass or a jug. What’s the difference between Strauss Water’s “Single Serve” technology and other?

Sparkling water can be prepared as a fixed measure or in continuous supply. The Strauss Water “Single Serve” technology produces sparkling water in a fixed volume. The carbonating tank size in our Sparkling WaterBar is 200cc; hence every glass of sparkling water will be 200cc.

In the alternative continuous supply technology the carbonation process takes place in advance and the sparkling water is stored in a container tank. This means that in contrast to the “Single Serve” technology the water is not freshly carbonated for every cup. The “Single Serve” technology enables you to control the carbonation level and quality, promising fresh, high quality sparkling water.

Yes. There are three levels of carbonation. Light, regular and strong. The consumer will receive a constant level of carbonation in every serving according to personal preference.

There are 380g in the carbonator. The replacement date of the carbonator depends on frequency of use and on the chosen carbonation level. The higher the use frequency is, the quicker replacement is needed.

Soda, or sparkling water, is water in which CO₂ is dissolved under high pressure conditions. Once the pressure stops, the dissolved CO₂ releases itself from the water in the form of bubbles – an effect called carbonation. Sparkling water can also be found in nature in underground water springs (such as San Pellegrino).

Sparkling water, unlike other sparkling beverages, has a calorie intake equivalent to water. It is recommended for weight management as it contains CO₂, which creates a feeling of satiation. Sparkling water is refreshing and can be drunk neat or with added flavors.

Sparkling water is considered to be as healthy as water and there are no limitations on its consumption.

Drink neat either during or between meals.

Prepare soft drinks by adding different flavors such as raspberry or lemon concetrate.

Create interesting and refreshing cocktails.

Clean your teeth. Sparkling water has disinfecting properties and therefore is great for cleaning your teeth!

Use as a rising agent in banking, creating fluffy and tasty pastry.

Sparkling water taste is affected by different elements, but mostly by the water quality and water composition.

  1. Water quality – High quality water with no additional flavors is the basis for delicious sparkling water. The amount of dissolved elements in the water (such as salts and minerals) will affect the flavor.
  2. Water temperature – The cooler the water is the more CO₂ can be dissolved in the water and the more significant the carbonation effect.
  3. Carbonation pressure – The higher the carbonation pressure, the more CO₂ is dissolved in the water, causing bubble release to be more significant.
  4. CO₂ release – A different taste will be experienced in water that was carbonated a minute earlier compared to water that was carbonated hours or days before.
